Tallis Tales Trail

We have organised a trip for all the students in Year 7 and 8 to the St Alfege's Church and the ORNC Visitors Centre in June and July 2022 to investigate the life of Thomas Tallis and the places where he spent much of his life working. The arrangements will be as follows:
9:00
10:30
11:00-13:00
13:00-14:00
14:00
Leave school and travel to Greenwich by foot.
Arrival time.
Special Investigation at St Alfege's Church and Greenwich Visitors Centre.
Lunch in Greenwich park and visit to Henry Moore sculpture and General Wolfe statue.
Leave the park and travel back to school to arrive for approximately 15:00.
We will also invite students to submit a design for their own Tallis at 50 memorial. Successful designs will be shared with our community. Student proposals could be anything from a sculpture, a sound installation, a performance or media ‘product’. Send your completed design to jnicholls@thomastalls.org.uk, with ‘Tallis at 50 memorial’ as the subject, no later than Friday 15th July.
