You can leave a comment here or submit your own story.  This is the 1st 11 football team for Thomas Tallis in 1971. The picture was taken at the temporary school in Eltham (the old Thomas a Becket school). The names I can recall are as follows:
Back row left to right: Russell Taylor, Paul Baker, Michael Dennis, (?), (?), (?) Front row: Paul (?), Nicky Laffer, Charlie Piggott, Dale (?) Ian Prosser, Paul Madeley, and myself Ian Heffer. At the time the school only consisted of one year and no girls were to join for a further two years. My class was 1TU. Teacher: Mr Stuart Turpie. -- Ian Heffer

My brother Dale Mewse was team captain front ro w middle holding the ball. He has quite a few photos of football team. Mark Janes back row 4th from left sadly passed away. My brother and Michael Dear were also selected to play for the district team.

The back row question marks are Bill French, Derek Lines and Michael Dear. A couple of wrong names in the front row .. Grant Prosser and Paul Medhurst Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
